wouldn't it be cooler if the Mini pets just started random fights.... ohh ohh what if you could set a fight mode, Your min-pet just randomly fights another
(No skills involved just a series of basic attack and random luck, No player control or intervention).
And you could bet on them aswel!
Wouldn't that be awesome Anet!

Silly and pointless. Thanks, 'Net.
It would've been more interesting if they entered a battle stance while there were enemies nearby.

That is what I was wondering.
What if this has more to do with the Asura mini-pet than the other mini pets?
Not that we need our mini pets to warn us of danger, but it would be neat if the mini-pets got aggressive around enemies (or around other mini's ) just to make sure their owners are safe.

Otherwise, it's just kinda silly. It doesn't really give them personalities, just makes them look...challenged. They're being threatened my something that isn't there.
Mini-Char: Raawr!
Owner: Oh don't mind him, it's just...something he does.

Yeeeeeeeup. It doesn't seem like there'd really be any trouble in making them do this. Almost as much effort as having them perform sound. If it was something worthwhile - like the special weekends and events you seem to think I don't care about - then I'd give them props. But this just ticks me off, more than anything.
A lot of them just look like they're having bowel movements, as many have stated.
